Message from President

Namaste

Hope everybody in the family is keeping well and are in good health.

The Arya Samaj London exists only with the participation and attendance of our members. I would like to personally take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and co-operation.

We have come a long way since reopening of Arya Samaj London in September 2021. In April 2022 we had our AGM and election of new President, General Secretary, Treasurer, other Office bearers and members as well as 7 new Trustees. They were all elected for 2 years (except trustees). All of us have been working very hard and have lots of small but noticeable changes.

We have celebrated all Indian festivals. We send all our information by email as more than 160 plus members have provided us with their details. We are producing quarterly Patrika and also sending hard copies to those who have requested this. We have started preeti bhoj on every first and 3rd Sunday of the month. This has only been possible due to all our EC members working hard.

Since the last Patrika we have had some special days on top of our regular Sunday Satsang. All these programmes were very well attended and very much appreciated by you.

Swami ji’s 200 birthday is coming up on 12th February 2024 and we are starting to organise big events to celebrate his 200th birthday. 1st event will be on 20th August to celebrate India’s Independence Day followed by Sam Veda Yajna and Gayatri Yajna on 10th September. Other programmes will be announced soon. We are also trying to involve youth.

Please encourage family & friends to come to Arya Samaj Satsangs and other programmes.

We would very much appreciate that you bring your family members to the Arya Samaj and help wherever you can.

AMRIT BHARDWAJ

PRESIDENT
